Inspired by the lines of the F22 jet fighter, the RF22 has a mid-engine, rear wheel drive layout. The vehicle is being developed by is Bulleta Motors, a newly founded company based in Irvine, California.
The supercar was designed by Samir Sadikhov, the author, amongst the others, of three projects presented on our pages: the 2011Incepto Concept, the Ferrari Xezri – that won the 2nd prize at the Ferrari World Design Contest 2011 – and the recent Aston Martin DBC Concept.
The main dimensions are a length of 4,348 mm (171.3 in), a width of 1,858 mm (76.8 in), a wheelbase of 2,575 mm (101.4 in) and a height of 1,223 mm (48.1 in). The 2-seater cabin will be optionally offered in a 2+2 configuration.
According to the official information, the RF22 will be offered with a choice of two 3.5 liter V6 units, developing respectively 400 and 505 HP and coupled with a speed manual gearbox – or optionally with a 6 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Regarding the project development stage, Lotus is reportedly involved in providing the Evora aluminum chassis as base for the vehicle, which will feature GRP Composite or optional carbon fiber body panels. You can read more information on this an Autoblog.com’s article.
